2. EXCHANGES AND RETURNS
All non-personalized items purchased from the Holmeia online store can be exchanged or returned within 14 days.
Items for exchange / return must be sent by post to the following address :

Products must be returned using or including: the original packaging; copy of the invoice / receipt; all labels and packaging of the articles.
The costs of postage of the exchange / return will be borne by the customer.
It is not possible to exchange or return personalized items.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Once the returned order is received and the conditions for exchange / return have been confirmed, Holmeia will proceed to refund the amount corresponding to the returned item, in the same way in which you made your purchase.
The refund is made within a maximum period of 15 working days, and is dependent on the intervening bank entities. If the payment of the order has been made through ATM reference, you must put the IBAN in the form to proceed with the refund.
If the returned items do not meet the exchange / return requirements, Holmeia reserves the right not to accept the exchange / return and to refuse to refund them.
If you believe that the item you received is not in normal or usual condition or in accordance with the terms, you should contact us. Send us an email to comercial@holmeia.com with an explanation of the situation, including photographs of the problem.
If you don’t receive your order, you should also contact us.
 
3. SALE
3.1. SCOPE AND DEFINITIONS
The present general conditions include all information related to the sale, namely the registration and purchase of items, at the Holmeia online store.
For the purposes of these conditions, it is understood:
a) “Holmeia”, based in R.Nova do Corujo, Lt 2, Vila Boa S.João, 4750-784 Barcelos, holder of all copyright, as well as other rights that may be subject to protection in the Industrial Property Code on the website www.holmeia.com and supplier of the items available for purchase there;
b) “Customer”, any person who places an order through Holmeia’s online store.
The present general conditions do not depart from the Client’s rights and guarantees, contained in DL nº 24/2014, of 14 February and the other legislation in force for contracts of this nature.
When using this online store, the Customer is bound by these Conditions and its other policies, so if you don’t agree with them, you should not use it.
Holmeia may, at any time, update, modify or replace these Conditions and / or policies associated with them. The Customer will be responsible for periodically checking for the occurrence of any changes.
 
3.2. REGISTRATION
The Customer allows the use of the information provided for the purposes of contact whenever necessary, as well as the availability, by Holmeia, of his personal data (name, address and contact details) to the carrier responsible for delivering the articles. If you don’t, we will not be able to proceed with your order.
When making a purchase through this store, the Customer declares to be over 18 years old and to have the legal capacity to enter into contracts.
 
3.3. PURCHASE
The purchase is made by accessing the Holmeia online store, selecting the items available for sale, concluding with the confirmation of the delivery address and final validation of the order.
If it is a personalized product, it will be sent for quotation, and Holmeia will contact the customer later.
The Customer will receive, by email, all information regarding the status of his order: order confirmation, confirmation of processing and shipping.
During the period of sales and / or promotions, there may be a delay in the processing of orders. Thus, you should have another 1-3 working days for the dispatch of your order.
The final validation of the order constitutes a declaration of acceptance by the customer of the business entered into, including acceptance of the present general conditions, of the rules governing purchases of this nature, of the price and characteristics of the ordered product, with the consequent mutual demand of the services contained in the order receipt.
Holmeia has the right, at any time and without prior notice, to suspend or close, temporarily or permanently, access to the online store.
 
3.4. DELIVERY
We deliver to all countries.
Deliveries are made on the days and times used by the logistics operator.
We don’t deliver on collection.
We don’t deliver items to PO boxes.
Delays in deliveries may occur for any of the following reasons: delays by carriers; season of sales or promotions; stock rupture; delivery difficulties to the recipient; holidays.
If you are unable to be at the place of delivery at the agreed time, we ask that you contact us so that we can expedite delivery for another day. Postage may be charged for resending it.
 
3.5. RETURNS
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return the purchased item within 14 days of receiving the order, if it is not a personalized item.
To return one or more items, you must send it by mail to the following address:

After confirming that the item has been returned under the conditions in which it was delivered to the Customer, Holmeia will begin the refund operation, using the same payment method used for the purchase.
The refund is made within a maximum period of 15 working days, and is dependent on the intervening bank entities.
If the payment for the order has been made through a Multibanco reference, you must put the IBAN in the form to proceed with the refund.

If you don’t receive your order, you should also contact us.
 
3.6. DEFECTS
We value the quality of our items and pay the utmost attention to their production, however, there may be some failure during their manufacture, so we are responsible for any lack of conformity. The item with manufacturing defect will be replaced by an identical model.
Whenever the customer considers that the purchased item has a production defect, he must contact Holmeia. In case it is concluded that it is really a defect, we will proceed to its replacement without any inherent cost, scheduling the collection of the item and supporting all return and reshipment charges.
Excluded from the guarantee are materials subject to deterioration or loss, inappropriate use, improper conservation and cleaning, negligence, misuse, modifications, accidents or normal wear and tear.
 
3.7. PRICES
The price of the products sold on Holmeia’s online store is in euros, with VAT (23%), taxes or other taxes included.
The prices shown can be changed at any time, and any changes will not affect orders for which the “Order Confirmation” has already been sent.
The customer will be able to pay via Bank Transfer, Paypal, Stripe, Ref. MB, MBWay, euPago.
The order is only considered completed with the payment being made.
Shipping is free for purchases equal to or greater than € 100 delivered in Portugal Continental.
 
3.8. PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS
The products presented in the online store are accompanied by a description of their characteristics, so it is assumed that the customer was aware of them before placing the order.
 
3.9. RESPONSIBILITY
Holmeia is not responsible for damages resulting from interference, interruptions, computer viruses, malfunctions or disconnections of the operating system that may temporarily impede access, navigation or the provision of services to Customers.
Holmeia is not responsible for any abuse of the Client’s access data to the online store, data considered personal and non-transferable, by third parties.
Holmeia is not obliged to supply products that are unavailable. All orders are subject to stock availability. In extraordinary situations, a certain item may be unavailable. Whenever this happens, we will inform the customer immediately, refunding the total amount paid within a maximum period of 15 days.
